The shapes in the shank create a dainty antique looking ring. In this tutorial the antique style ring design covers the making of marquee and round shapes forming part of the shank. The bezel / collet is decorated with little bead spheres. The shank is then soldered on afterwards. This setting involves pavé and millgrain, which in most cases is done by a setter.
