This instruction comes with easy to follow pictorials and detailed illustrations which shows you:

- - Setting method is discussed
- This tutorial can be made in a standard smithing workshop. You will need:
- - Metal : silver or gold or other
- - 5mm Center gemstone
- - 9 x 2mm Round gemstone
This is a dainty traditional cluster ring setting with one center gemstone and nine smaller surrounding gemstones.
I chose to use 9 stones because firstly, that is the number that fitted around the center stone and in real life, working in a jewelers workshop, often the customer will have X amount of stones and such and such center stone and you will have to make it. So the option of making a ring with six or eight stone is not possible.
First the gallery prongs are filed out and a basket made, before adding the center collet.
